VIDEO: MacKenzie's Dream Experience with Jeff Gordon
MacKenzie Jamison is a 15 year old Cornelius, NC resident. Among the many things that a girl faces during her teenage years, you can add to the list for Miss MacKenzie: Autism, Epilepsy, Anxiety, and Depression. MacKenzie is not alone in her battle against these chronic and life-altering conditions. Her support group includes her amazing family, her church youth group, and the wonderful staff at Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital.
It is only fitting that MacKenzie would be receiving treatment at Jeff Gordon Children’s hospital. Here are a few answers from her referral application: Favorite Sports Hero – “Jeff Gordon! The greatest NASCAR driver ever!” Spare Time Activities – “Watch recorded races that Jeff has won!” So you can understand why when asked what her ultimate sports dream would be, MacKenzie told Dream On 3 that she wanted to be at the races with her hero…Jeff Gordon!
With the support of Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, Dream On 3 made a dream come true for this very special young girl on October 10th and 11th!
