Jeff Gordon (No. 24 Chevrolet SS) wins the Duralast Brakes "Brake in the Race" award at Darlington in the Sprint Cup Series.

The award is given to the highest eligible driver in the running order at the time of the first caution of each race. He earned the award in the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. He started in 9th and finished in 7th place. Gordon is the current leader in the 2014 point standings.
