Jeff Gordon will have a full day Friday at Texas Motor Speedway.

He'll participate in two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practices in the No. 24 Panasonic Toughbook Chevrolet SS in preparation for qualifying later in the evening.

Only two hours later after qualifying, he'll enter the broadcast booth for his debut as a FOX Sports 1 analyst for the NASCAR XFINITY Series race.

Gordon is scheduled to be an analyst in the broadcast booth for three NASCAR XFINITY Series races this year, first at Texas on April 10, second at Bristol on April 18 and then Talladega on May 2.

“Every Saturday I’m in my bus watching the XFINITY races and I’m drawn to it. I’m learning from it as well as critiquing it,” Gordon said earlier this season. “So, when FOX came and asked me, they said they were talking with three or four other drivers about going up in the booth for a few races, and I was interested and intrigued by it.”
