My name is Derek Sizemore, and I live in Michigan. In 1993 My Uncle took me to see an IROC race, and I’ve been a NASCAR fan ever since. I was lucky enough to get to see some of Jeff’s rookie season, and the beginning of what I think is the greatest career in stock car racing history.

With so many dedicated and loyal fans it is truly an honor to be named the Jeff Gordon Fan of the Month. This past August I got to see in person a victory by Jeff at the Pure Michigan 400. It was one of the most nerve racking and exciting moments I’ve experienced as a fan in my life. The last few laps seemed to take hours. I read on Jeff Gordon’s website he did a special burnout by turn 4 for a fan of his he met that weekend during his VIP experience. It is great to be a Jeff Gordon fan!

It will be exciting to meet him next year in Michigan at his VIP Experience.
