My name is Brandon Spinner, and I currently live in Sioux Falls, SD as a Broadcast Meteorologist for KDLT News. I spent most of my life growing up in the Chicagoland area. At the age of six I watched my first NASCAR race with my Grandpa who was a huge NASCAR fan. That race was the TranSouth Financial 400 at Darlington and Jeff Gordon dominated the race and led nearly 200 laps to go on and win. From that moment on I was in love with the sport and instantly became a fan of Jeff. I have collected Jeff Gordon diecasts, hats, pictures, and other memorabilia as I have grown up. Since then I been to five NASCAR races, two at Brickyard, two at Chicagoland Speedway, including the Inaugural Race, and one at Michigan; sadly I have not been able to see Jeff win a race live. I am hoping to make it to Jeff’s final races at Chicagoland and Kansas this Fall and one day hope to meet Jeff! With so many dedicated and loyal fans it is an honor to be named the Jeff Gordon #Team24 Fan of the Month in Jeff’s final season.
