Jeff Gordon and the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet team win the Pit Road Precision Award

Jeff Gordon and the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet team win the Pit Road Precision Award in the October 17th Sprint Cup NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

The Tissot "Pit Road Precision Award" is given to the eligible driver who has spent the least amount of time on pit road and has finished on the lead lap. Gordon earned ,000 and a Tissot watch since the No. 24 clocked a time of 271.888 seconds and finished on the lead lap in 4th. Gordon moved up two spots to 3rd in the 2009 Sprint Cup point standings after this event.
