Design Your Tee Contest
Official Rules
The Jeff Gordon Network ("JGN") Design Your Tee Contest is offered only in the United States and is open only to legal residents of the United States, no entries under 18 years of age without written consent from legal guardian at the time of entry. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees (as well as their immediate family members, parents, children, siblings, spouse and others living in their same household, whether related or not) of The Jeff Gordon Foundation, Jeff Gordon, Inc., Hendrick Motorsports, LLC, Hendrick Gordon Licensing, LLC, and Junior Motorsports, LLC , are not eligible to enter.
How to enter: To enter the contest, download the required template and design your tee. Entries can be submitted via email and postal mail. Entries must be received no later than 12:00 pm EST on Friday, January 8, 2010. Winners will be drawn on Monday, January 25, 2009 and announced on www.jeffgordon.com. All entries become the sole property of The Jeff Gordon Network and will not be returned. .
Prizes/Odds of Winning: Grand Prize: Winning designs autographed by Jeff Gordon and framed, JeffGordonStore.com gift card. All unspecified expenses are winner's sole responsibility. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize. No prize transfer. Odds of winning are determined by the total number of entries received.
General Conditions: By entering, entrants accept and agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the JGN, which are final and binding in all respects. In the event of non-compliance with requirements or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. The JGN reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds (i) to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest; (ii) to be in violation of the Official Rules; (iii) or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of the contest or defraud the JGN in any way will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The contest is subject to all applicable laws of the United States. Entrants agree that all entries shall be deemed to be "work for hire" as contemplated by the United States Copyright Act and owned by JGN or an assignment of such works to JGN. In furtherance, entrants agree that upon presentment and request by JGN, entrants shall execute promptly all papers, documents and/or letters of assignment necessary and appropriate in JGN’s sole discretion to assign and convey to JGN all copyrights and rights to obtain copyrights in copyrightable subject matter associated with the designs. JGN reserves the right to use, display, alter, modify, edit or prepare derivative works using the design submission, in any lawful manner whatsoever (including without limitation, advertising, exploitation, or promotional activities). JGN is not responsible for lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, late, damaged, destroyed, or delayed entries.
Limitations of Liability: JGN is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, including, without limitation, that which is caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of entries in the contest. JGN assumes no responsibilities for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, or defection, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries in processing the contest entries. JGN is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or entrants on accounts of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site associated with the contest. JGN is not responsible for user cheating or fraud by any entrants. If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, the JGN may, in its sole discretion, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. By accepting the prize, winners agree the use of his or her name and/or photograph for advertising purposes without further compensation or notice. By participating, entrants agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless the JGN, and/or any of its affiliates, partners, members, shareholders, agents, employees, and directors, including without limitation, Jeff Gordon, and Jeff Gordon, Inc. (collectively, the "Indemnified Parties") from any and all claims or demands for any damage, liability, cause of action or injury of any kind or nature whatever arising from participation in the contest, including any unauthorized use of or infringement of any trademark, service mark, copyright, patent, process, method or devise or other proprietary right by entrant in connection with the designs, regardless of whether such claims a based in negligence, strict liability, or under any other theory. This indemnity shall continue in perpetuity. No acceptance or approval by JGN of any entry shall affect the Indemnified Parties’ rights hereunder.
