What is Candy Digital?

Candy is a next generation digital collectible company offering digital assets for fans and collectors.

Fans and collectors will be able to purchase, trade, and share NFTs to deepen their love of sports. Our team of world-class digital artists, designers, and technologists are developing a broad range of digital collectibles, beginning with sports content and expanding into art, entertainment, music, and more.
__________

What is an “NFT”?

A Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is a unit of data, stored on a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent unique ownership of photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files. Candy creates digital collectibles tied to real life experiences and events as NFTs.
__________

What blockchain does Candy use for NFTs?

Candy Digital NFTs are built on top of Palm blockchain infrastructure due to its token powered ecosystem, scalability, and commitment to the experience of their creators and collectors. Palm uses a consensus mechanism called IBFT-2, a rotating Proof-of-Authority consensus method which allows affordable transactions and nearly 0% carbon footprint. Furthermore, Palm is a nice compliment to Ethereum L1. It allows for a quick, efficient, and clean marketplace for collectors to safely trade, buy, and sell verified Candy NFTs with the option to transfer NFTs to the mainnet and buy or sell on Opensea and other marketplaces (details).
__________

Candy Racing NFTs will be serialized on a first come, first serve basis. For example: the user who purchases first will have Serial #1 of that driver, the user who purchases second will have Serial #2, etc.
