Jeff began his wine experience more than a dozen years ago and his enthusiasm for fine wine has continued to grow. Working personnally with August "Joe" Briggs, owner of Briggs & Sons Winemaking Co. of Calistoga, CA, he launched the Jeff Gordon Collection of fine wines in the fall of 2005 with a 2004 Carneros Chardonnay, followed by a 2005 Carneros Chardonnay, a 2004 Napa Valley Merlot, a 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and most recently a 2006 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and a 2006 Carneros Chardonnay. A special blend of Cabernet and Merlot, called "Joie de Vivre", is coming soon and will be released in magnums. Jeff is considering adding a Rose of Syrah in 2009.
